I do not come into this pulpit hoping that perhaps somebody will of his own free will return to Christ. My hope lies in another quarter. I hope that my Master will lay hold of some of them and say, "You are mine, and you shall be mine. I claim you for myself." My hope arises from the freeness of grace, and not from the freedom of the will.

Derrick is married to his soul mate, Melanie (8 years) and has 4 beautiful children. She is the driving force behind his passion.

As a playwrite Derrick  has written a series of plays that will hit the road in late 2010.  These plays will reach the masses with more than a positive message, but more importantly God's Message intertwined with music, humor and art.  Also, a gifted song writer, Derrick along with God's Dynasty Productions produces all of the music that will be heard in the plays.

As an author, Derrick has written his first book, Answering the Call of Faith. the first of a series of 5 books that focus on developing men and women to walk in their purpose.

The very essence of ministry is not the popularity, the money or clout. It's who you reach with what you have been given.  When you look at Derrick, you see a man committed to the will of God. Derrick is a young man who has been given a gift. A gift that every man has been given, life.

As a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Derrick stands firmly on the word of God, proclaiming his truth to all generations.  Through walking in his calling he has seen God do miracles.
